"I Spy with my Little Camera" was made in a 48 hour window for the GMTK Game Jam 2023. 48 hours proved to be far from enough time to develop all the features I had in mind, and to fully refine the game from the simple state that it has released. Although I am pretty happy with the main idea of the game, I think the execution could have been way better than this: the art is extremely basic and bland, there are no sound effects and there are very few features in the game to make it fun. Among some of the ideas that came to mind during the 48 hour period, there were some like deployable laser detectors you could find and leave wherever you'd see fit, which would notify you through a notification system (similar to the "tip" system below the timer), giving the spy the ability to evade and eliminate guards in order to not be found, and the ability to temporarily disable cameras, a "phone" that would let you see a single camera no matter where you are on the map, and much more.
